I had to give up halfway through episode 3

Chronology

It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work has been built on exposing the transgressions of long-respected institutions. Gary Oldman was originally considered for the role, but was replaced by Kevin Kline. This is one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen, not even Cate Blanchett could save it.

I can’t believe how many things went wrong

This is coming from someone who read the book in anticipation of this show. I have to say that I found the book itself to be very average. I mean, what’s with the audio quality and that terribly useless narration?

And that annoying transition!

Everything feels so out of place in this mess of a show. The ratings are fake, for sure, there’s no way this is a 7-star show. The dialogue from the young actors is just embarrassing.

A star for the cat

The whole show is so boring. We know from the beginning what happened, unlike the book if I remember correctly, so with the mystery over with, we’re left with nothing. Too bad, because I was really looking forward to it.
